People Operations Specialist | SailPoint | Singapore
SailPoint seeks a talented People Operations Specialist to support our APAC crew members. The People Operations team is focused on supporting SailPoint’s global expansion and scale, through key recruiting programs, technology, processes and creating delivery services throughout the employee life cycle. The People Operations Specialist will focus on continuous improvement, processes, data and projects within the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, streamline, automate, and make recommendations for improvements to the Onboarding process to ensure it is effective, efficient, and in accordance with all business and local laws. Operations should be a competitive advantage.
- Scope, validate, and document processes creating opportunities for efficiency.
- Coordinates the flow of candidates throughout the onboarding process, from offer to pre-hire to onboarding day including conducting pre-employment background checks
- Manage the visa process for new hires requiring sponsorship.
- Manage the onboarding systems, process, and ensure data in various systems are correctly aligned and facilitates accurate reporting.
- Ensure high integrity and accuracy of HR data through audits and governance
- Maintain employment agreements, handbook, and policies to ensure they align with local law
- Drive candidate relationship once recruitment process reaches offer accepted status to manage pre-boarding activities in a streamlined and efficient manner.
- Act as first point of contact for any questions candidates may have in the pre-boarding stage.
- Manage and review electronic on-boarding dashboards and reports to ensure that new hire onboarding tasks are accurate and completed timely.
- Engage with the Recruiter to ensure maximum communication and clarity of potential issues in pre-boarding.
- Partner with multiple stakeholders in the onboarding process including corporate technology, payroll and talent acquisition to ensure accuracy and a great new hire experience.
- Develops and maintains a positive image of the Human Resources department and the company by being enthusiastic and upbeat, having a positive attitude, and by providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Assist with interview scheduling as needed
Within 30 days:
You will gain an understanding of our tech stack including Workday and ServiceNow and start to build relationships within the People Ops team. You’ll soak up knowledge through our knowledge portal, employee handbook, and corporate policies.
Within 90 days:
You will be fluent in the systems and addressing tickets from internal employees. You will have built relationships with key stakeholders and manage pre-onboarding activities, background checks, and onboarding for new employees.
Within 6 months:
You will have all the knowledge necessary to independently resolve tickets and inquires in the region including basic benefits questions and recruiting operations while managing employment agreements, terminations, and onboarding. You will review the handbook and documentation annually and make process improvement recommendations.
Within 1 year:
You will be an expert in all of the above plus spearhead ad hoc or global projects and own immigration for APAC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources operations
- Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS, Electronic Applicant Tracking and Onboarding Systems
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.
- Requires attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate a high degree of quality and accuracy in work
- Ability to multi-task and exercise sound judgment and make decisions
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Take ownership and pride in work.
- Ability to work well within time sensitive deadlines and under pressure.
