Remote, temp-to-hire opportunity with a software development company! As a Senior People Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all HR processes, including Benefits, Compensation, and Performance Management, while utilizing and maintaining the HRIS and other HR-specific systems. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for HR and a strong desire to contribute to a positive employee experience. Even though this role is fully remote, the company is only considering candidates within the PST time zone.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must reside in PST time zone!
  • 8+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced tech environment, with a strong understanding of HRIS systems (like Rippling, Lattice, and Carta).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and HRIS systems.
  • Expertise in HR policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • A proactive thinker who can identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Maintain and optimize the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Lead and execute HR projects, such as system implementations and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Reporting and preparing for US benefits including management of open enrollment and management of government logins and employee claims.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve HR goals.
