Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Perl Developer with a strong background in backend development and database integration. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Perl programming and experience working with relational databases, such as Oracle. Proficiency in Python is a bonus. This is a remote role, ideal for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions using Perl.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality code.

•Integrate and manage databases like Oracle for optimal performance and reliability.

•Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the software lifecycle.

•Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

•Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to best coding practices.

•Contribute to project planning, estimations, and technical documentation.

•Work independently in a remote setting while maintaining effective communication with team members.

Qualifications and Experience

•Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Perl Developer.

Technical Skills Required

•Advanced proficiency in Perl programming (required).

•Experience in working with relational databases, like Oracle.

•Additional experience in Python is a plus.

•Strong understanding of backend development, database integration, and system architecture.
