What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Perform detailed pharmacy and benefit work affecting pharmacy and health plan operations
- Integrate technical pharmacy aspects with medical review, case management, and quality management
- Communicate with Customer Service, members, network pharmacies, and regulatory entities
- Liaise with healthcare providers regarding claims and medication management initiatives
- Conduct onsite training sessions as needed
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience
- Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a call center environment
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in pharmacy benefits management
- Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of medication management programs
- Previous experience in a healthcare call center setting
