Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled PhD Data Analysts from Commerce, Information Technology (IT), Natural Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, or any other discipline. This role is designed for PhD holders who are proficient in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning. As a Data Analyst, you will be involved in diverse projects that require in-depth research, data collection, and analysis, helping drive data-driven decisions across industries. You will collaborate with international clients on projects that span various domains, making a significant impact with your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Analysis
• Collect, clean, and organize large data sets for analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyse complex datasets in Commerce, IT, and other fields.
• Develop models that provide actionable insights for project goals and client needs.
• Present data findings in a clear and compelling way through visualizations and reports.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in data reporting, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
2. Collaboration & Client Interaction
• Work closely with international clients to understand project requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to develop research strategies and methodologies.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary research projects, collaborating with other experts to achieve optimal results.
• Communicate complex data concepts to non-expert stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
3. Research & Development
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in data science, commerce, and IT, applying them to ongoing projects.
• Develop strategies for optimizing data analysis processes and improving research efficiency.
• Utilize machine learning tools and software to enhance data-driven decision-making in research projects.
• Produce high-quality written reports and presentations based on research findings.

• Analytical & Critical Thinking: Ability to analyse large datasets and draw meaningful insights for decision-making.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in data analysis tools such as Python, R, Excel, or other relevant software.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present data findings and strategies to clients.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with international clients and cross-functional teams.
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous in data handling, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all projects.
• Flexibility: Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Commerce, Information Technology (IT), Natural Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, or a related field. Other fields such as Natural Sciences, chemistry, biology, nanoscience, Engineering, Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, etc. are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience working independently and in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in grant writing or securing funding is an advantage.

• Flexibility to work on global projects with clients across different time zones.
• Ability to manage complex data projects and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
