Php Perl Developer (Remote)

About the Role:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP/Perl Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our domain registrar platform.

• This role requires a deep understanding of PHP and Perl programming languages, as well as a strong familiarity with the intricacies of the domain name industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable PHP and Perl applications for our domain registrar platform.

• API Integration: Integrate with various domain name registries and other third-party APIs to ensure seamless functionality.

• Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimizations to enhance the speed and responsiveness of our applications.

• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to our domain registrar systems.

• Security: Prioritize security best practices to protect our systems and user data from vulnerabilities and attacks.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and operations, to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the PHP, Perl, and domain name industry

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in PHP and Perl programming languages.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

• Familiarity with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of domain name system (DNS) protocols and standards.

• Understanding of industry-standard security practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with domain registrar platforms or similar systems.

• Knowledge of specific domain name registries and their APIs.

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

WORK DETAILS:

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am- 3:00pm or 7:00am- 4:00pm PH Time; depending on business needs

• Location: Makati | *Work from Home Until Further Notice

• Status: Full time employment
