Plan A Technologies is looking for a Senior Project Manager with Business Analysis experience. The ideal candidate should have experience managing complex software development projects and must also be comfortable writing business requirements documents in English. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.

Please note: you must have at least 8+ years of experience as Project Manager, 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and Technical Writing experience to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work as the primary point of contact and lead for all assigned projects.
• Elicit and discuss requirements with stakeholders from the client side including business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain backlog and keep solution requirements documentation for new functionality up-to-date.
• Analyze and verify feature requests from the stakeholders, define required changes and verify with the product owner.
• Present requirements to the team, support the team on requirements and minimize time spent by the team to elaborate requirements for their current tasks.
• Participate in the presales process — elicit high-level scope and prepare required deliverables.
• Able to project manage software development projects, physical building renovation projects, and RFP processes.
• Translate process requirements into concrete end-to-end project plans: define, document, and manage program goals, objectives, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Lead and negotiate with stakeholders to commit to and execute to project plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and team members to translate strategic vision into program scope and design, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
• Monitor and report on project progress, performance, risks, and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Facilitate joint planning with business partners.
• Create metrics and manage program-level performance indicators and metrics.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on multiple complex technical topics.
• Mentor and coach junior staff members on project management methodologies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the program management function.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field.
• 8+ years experience in program management with increasing levels of responsibility – experience overseeing large multimillion-dollar projects with many stakeholders.
• 6+ years of experience as Business analyst with Technical Writing experience (documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences).
• 5+ years of experience utilizing project management software, such as Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, or Basecamp.
• Experience in creating and maintaining documentation: Solution Requirements, backlog items in form of user stories and acceptance criteria, use cases.
• Experience in modeling via BPMN, ERD, state, scope modeling techniques.
• Experience in presale/discovery activities.
• Excellent communication skills — fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to interface and communicate with clients, including top-level management and key stakeholders.
• Extremely organized.
• Experience managing and organizing several work streams with different priorities.
• Experience allocating teams to complete projects within timeline, budget, and scope.
• Experience creating, monitoring, and updating project plans.
• Experience removing roadblocks and mitigating identified risks.
• Willingness and ability to make difficult, complex decisions.
• Ability to maintain a positive work attitude.
• PMP, CSM, CSPO, or other project management-appropriate certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to provide innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting multiple disciplines and work groups.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
• Experience in either casino gaming or online gaming would be a plus.
