Role: Power BI Engineer

Location: Remote (USA)

Job type: Full Time

Education/Experience:

Bachelor s degree in a computer science, related field or in lieu of, 6+ years ofrelated experience.
5+ years of related business intelligence and release planning experience
Proven ability to lead design and development efforts across multiple data intelligence products and cross functional teams.
Strong experience in Power BI analytics, data visualization and integration.
Strong experience in writing and performance tuning queries in DAX and SQL.
Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M) and the Power BI service environment.
Experience in Power BI Embedded and Azure Analysis Services. Azure Analysis Services experience is a hard requirement.
Experience with the latest features in Microsoft Fabric including alerting, goal setting, CoPilot and other features.
Demonstrated knowledge of paginated reports (Power BI Report Builder)
Demonstrated knowledge of semantic model management via XMLA endpoints using multiple tools.
Demonstrated knowledge of Power Automate, Power BI APIs (to manage workspaces and contents, including scorecards).
Experience with creating and managing gateways.
Knowledge of data table design, stored procedures, triggers, maintenance, optimization, indexing.
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in an Agile environment.
Experience in health care, pharmaceuticals, or managed care a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite of communication tools (Teams, Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook).
