Position Overview:
Join our growing team as a Power Systems Rental Sales Representative and play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our rental business. This new addition to the team involves direct outside rental sales of cutting-edge electrical power generation, distribution, contractor tooling, instrumentation, and compressed air equipment across the southern Alberta and Saskatchewan market. With your knowledge, you’ll be at the forefront of developing strategic customer relationships, delivering innovative equipment solutions, and contributing to our mission of excellence.

Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with customers by providing consistent, accurate, and timely equipment solutions advice.
Must have demonstrated experience at the corporate level, showcasing your ability to thrive in a dynamic and professional environment.
Ensure all sales documents and customer agreements are completed accurately and promptly.
Produce accurate and timely quotations based on customer requirements and negotiate to secure their business.
Foster effective working relationships within the team and with other departments.
Commit to continuous learning and development.
Represent the company ethically and professionally, maintaining confidentiality.
Identify and act on new business opportunities to drive growth.
Provide quality equipment service solutions to meet customer needs and enhance their business.
Prepare accurate and timely equipment product forecasts, pricing, estimates, market intelligence, call reports, and customer information.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
A minimum of 5+ years of proven sales experience in the power generation or rental equipment markets, demonstrating a strong track record of success and industry expertise.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in practical scenarios.
Comprehensive understanding of CRM systems.
Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and the used equipment business.
Adherence to Finning policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Knowledge of the Finning sales system is an asset.
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Solid time and territory management skills.
