We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our small but passionate team. We’re excited to connect with individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to work with highly innovative and diverse clients. Our office is based in Sydney and this role operates in a hybrid format.
Every day will be different for our new (Senior) Consultant. You will be key in drafting media facing materials like pitches, press releases and case studies, and supporting account leads with reactive media enquiries. You will be joining a high-performing team that values proactivity, curiosity, and the confidence to grapple with tricky subject matter.
Like all the best agency jobs, it can be a high-pressure. But you are resilient and will work within a team that always has your back, 100 percent.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to strategy development by crafting and executing communications programs to achieve client objectives
- Leverage relationships with media and influencers to determine effective approaches to drive visibility for clients
- Collaborate closely with account managers and directors to deliver strategic insights and guidance
- Use strong organisational skills to effectively manage and prioritise key components of client communications
- Identify, evaluate and pitch media features and opportunities for clients
- Proactively research and develop innovative ideas to drive client impact
- Manage logistics for events and product review programs
- Contribute to the business development and marketing of company brand
- Support and execute the company’s social media strategy
- Act as the main day-to-day contact for clients, managing all correspondence.
Our ideal candidate
You are a creative and lateral thinker who can overcome obstacles with a genuine passion for getting it right, every time. You will have strong knowledge of public relations, and a desire keep abreast of client industry, PR industry, media and marketing developments, along with client management and know how best to manage these areas with excellence.
- Demonstrated consultant or senior consultant experience, ideally in a PR agency setting working with B2B technology/corporate brands
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience with drafting briefs, responding to queries, and engaging with confidence during client conversations
- A degree in Communications, International Relations, Marketing, Political Science, Social Studies or other relevant degree
- Curiosity and an interest in technology, government policy and current affairs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential for this role
- Attention to detail and great organisational skills
- Proactivity, self-motivation and a drive to learn and grow.
