This is maternity leave 12 month fixed term role starting March 2025, with the opportunity to extend. Work from home or from any location in Australia! This is a full time role.
The Practitioner Operations Manager is responsible for the Independent Contractor component of operations of Therapy Connect and reports into the National Operations Manager. The role leads a cohort of remote, independent contractor allied health practitioners, and is responsible for engagement and retention of contractors and managing the performance of the contractor group. The role will also develop, refine and implement clinical service delivery in line with clients’ needs and their circle of care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a high performance, passionate cohort of Independent Contractors to optimise operational performance, capacity, and utilisation.
Lead the engagement, onboarding, orientation of contractors and the management of Independent Contractor Agreements.
Ensure high quality client outcomes according to best practice
standards, Therapy Connects service delivery model and compliance with the NDIS. This includes being responsible for monitoring and reporting of reportable incidents, complaints.
Be involved in strategic projects related to business priorities as required across quality, business development and marketing.
Support a small clinical caseload
About You
Essential skills, attributes & requirements
Tertiary qualification in Allied Health discipline (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Psychology), registration with relevant body.
At least 5+ years practical experience in providing services to children, teens and/or adults.
Experience with the NDIS and disability health
Experience delivering therapy programs to clients / participants, their families and carers via a combination of online and in person therapy services.
Experience and ability to demonstrate effective leadership and team management as well as training and support to allied health professionals.
Effective time management and organisational skills, with a passion for process and seeking opportunities to improve the status quo
Clear NDIS worker screening check
A current valid Working with Children Check (or equivalent) for the state or territory in which the person usually resides.
Reliable fast internet connection
Professional home office
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to work independently and unsupervised
Strong client and stakeholder engagement skills
