We are seeking a driven, tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Pre-Sales Technical Engineer for the ASEAN + Taiwan market, based in Malaysia. What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with sales to understand customer needs and provide technical expertise in pre-sales.
• Lead product demos, workshops, and presentations to showcase Arrosoft’s capabilities.
• Provide technical insights and assist in evaluating and designing systems that meet client requirements.
• Work closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
• Stay updated on industry trends in data protection, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
• Offer technical guidance and training to help clients maximize their Arrosoft solutions.
• Provide feedback on customer needs and product improvements to drive growth.
• Troubleshoot advanced problems with a deep knowledge of client environments.
• Document resolutions and write articles to share your knowledge and experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience designing/administrating/supporting at least one of the following data protection solutions – Commvault, Veeam, or Veritas NetBackup.
• Experience working with at storage systems.
• Experience working with VMware vSphere and vCenter.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin (spoken and written) to support ASEAN and Taiwan regions.
• MS SQL and Oracle Backup and Recovery (will be advantageous)
• Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems (will be advantageous)
• Public cloud solutions such as AWS, GCP and Azure (will be advantageous)
