Presales Technical Consultant (Remote)

The Technical Presales Consultant (Dubai) , specializing in software solutions (both Cloud and On-Premise), will be tasked with designing and developing customized software solutions, including Database, Middleware, Integration, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence, among others. A background as a Solution Architect is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales teams to understand client needs.
• Create, develop, present, and demonstrate software solutions.
• Respond to RFPs and prepare technical proposals and documentation.
• Design solutions for enterprise portals, content management, and collaboration tools.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and competitors, contributing to new service offerings.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations to gather detailed requirements and pinpoint pain points affecting their objectives.
• Evaluate clients’ infrastructure challenges to identify new business opportunities for software solutions.
• Develop and present architectural designs that seamlessly integrate software solutions into unified IT infrastructures.
• Provide continuous support and guidance to both staff and clients throughout the sales process.
• Ensure that proposed solutions align with client objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Serve as a Technical Advisor to clients and prospects, offering insights into best practices, product features, functionality, and integration capabilities.
• Plan, execute, and manage Proof of Concepts to validate the effectiveness of solutions in customer environments.
• Analyze business requirements to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals.
• Review current systems to identify gaps and areas for improvement, proposing suitable solutions.
• Document system designs clearly for all stakeholders.
• Guide the development process, ensuring compliance with architectural standards.
• Provide estimates for project timelines, costs, and resource needs.
• Understand complex systems, identify patterns, and design scalable, robust architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 7 years of experience in software solution development and implementation.
• Demonstrated experience in technology transformation initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with both Cloud and On-Premise solutions.
• Proficient in programming languages, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Valuable experience in relevant industries (e.g., finance, oil and gas, government, e-commerce), which aids in understanding industry-specific challenges for effective solution design.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are preferred.
• Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in client presentations, project management, and delivering automation projects.
• Proven ability to respond to large and multi-product RFPs.
• Familiarity with automation methodologies, software, and tools, including: Python, JavaScript, ReactJS, SQL/MySQL, Oracle Database, and middleware
