  The role

  We’re looking for a Principal Engineer to collaborate with key stakeholders, lead technical design efforts, and play a crucial role in shaping our technical roadmap.

  More about what you’ll to:

  • Lead detailed technical design on all solutions
  • Analyse the balance between best practice, performance, and customer impact to make sure we’re building the best possible solutions.
  • Identify inefficiencies on the software development flow and fix them.
  • Write secure, reliable, and maintainable code that’s well-tested.
  • Contribute to documentation, code reviews, tackle complex bugs with security, performance and reliability in mind.
  • Share your knowledge, helping your teammates grow and level up their skills.
  • Help identify and remove obstacles that might get in the way of building high-quality software. Think on design principles, testing, performance, best practices for security and privacy.
  • Collaborate on and contribute to the technical roadmap, helping to prioritise initiatives based on business impact.
  • Ensure smooth operation and performance of software components, including cloud-native solutions and partner platforms like Adobe Commerce and payment gateways, while collaborating with teams to address any technical challenges.

   About you:

  • Background in PHP, Java, .NET, React, React Native and modern software development tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services and how to make the most of them.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience building relationships, negotiating, and influencing others to get things done.
