What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Reviewing environmental components of applications to ensure enough information is available for the NEPA process
• Leading consultation efforts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws
• Coordinating project deliverables with document production staff
• Monitoring project scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Communicating with clients, applicants, stakeholders, and agency staff

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in natural or physical science, public policy, economics, environmental management or related subjects
• 12+ years of professional experience preparing and/or reviewing documents in compliance with NEPA and associated regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including ability to prioritize and multi-task under strict deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to succeed with new and challenging tasks
