As a key member of our engineering department, you will lead the design and development of complex software solutions to meet our business needs. This role requires a strong ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, quickly adapt to new technologies, and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with enterprise and various architects to create prototypes and Proofs of Concepts that align with stakeholder requirements
- Translate backlog requirements into detailed architecture and designs
- Ensure alignment between architectural solutions and business objectives
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
- Lead back-end development efforts ensuring robust, maintainable code
- Design and innovate features to enhance the user experience
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best engineering practices
- Enhance system performance including tuning, reusability, and automation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards and compliance regulations
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining both back-end and front-end of web projects with a focus on back-end
- Proficiency in Azure cloud platform, knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers
- Skills in DBMS technology including SQLServer or PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Familiarity with caching mechanisms such as Redis or Memcached
- Competency in development tools and technologies including GIT, build automation tools, and testing frameworks
- Understanding of package managers, CI/CD pipelines, and REST-based APIs
- Ability to quickly learn and operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, familiarity with MQTT/AMQP protocols
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript and libraries such as React
- Capability to build GraphQL client and server (preferably Apollo)
- Understanding of UI/UX and basic prototype design
