Purpose:
– Ensure work done conforms to the applicable work instructions and Design standards as applicable to the project assignment.
– Works with engineers as required to produce Design from engineers’ sketches and drawing mark-ups

Specific accountabilities

– Drafting of all process drawings including but not limited to PFD, UFD, P&ID’s, Block flow diagrams, etc.
– Pre-bid drawing estimates.
– Site surveys and process drawing verification (as-building).
– Ensuring drawing quality and maintaining quality records.
– Filing and maintaining drawings and drawing register.
– Experience of internal audits will be an added advantage.
– Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the CSG, etc
– Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

– Must have excellent English skills, both oral and written
– Experience running software, including:
– Unisim Design/Aspentech HYSYS
– Unisim Flare /Aspen Flare System Analyzer
– HTRI / Aspen Exchanger Design and Rating
– PIPENET Standard module
– In-House calculations sheets for miscellaneous process calculations
– Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
