Allianz Technology are currently seeking a Procurement Manager and Senior Procurement Manager to support our Australian Head of Operations and drive and deliver against our local procurement strategy and support Group procurement requirements.

About the role
  • Developing and implementing local procurement strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and global standards of procurement.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to optimize IT procurement processes, including sourcing and purchasing IT hardware (HW), software (SW), and services according to specifications.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favourable terms and pricing.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection.
  • Evaluating vendor performance regularly to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions (T&C), including Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, IT, or a related field with proven experience in IT procurement preferably in standalone managerial role.
  • Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and can quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
  • Knowledge of IT products and services, including HW, SW, cloud solutions and IT infra. Familiarity with Procurement software and tools e.g., SAP.
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations governing procurement activities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
