The successful application will manage the clients’ tendering and contract requirements, provide sound procurement advice and excellent customer service. Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for leading the tendering process for a variety of expense categories, projects and services. You will help our clients to meet the requirements of PCR 2015 and their own internal regulations. You will work with the client’s stakeholders to draft tender packs to ensure contracts placed achieve value for money, cost savings, where available, and improved service levels.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone within the Middlesex / West London region, who has extensive procurement experience within the public sector and knowledge of public sector procurement legislation. If you are a skilled and experienced procurement professional with the ability to deliver all aspects of this role, then we would love to hear from you!
This role is part time (2.5 days per week), but full time applications will also be considered. This position is predominantly remote working but will require a minimum of 1 visit per week to our client in Uxbridge or nearby locations as required.
Salary And Benefits
In return for your dedication to the role you will receive a salary of up to £22,500 (£45,000 FTE) dependant on experience. Additionally, you will be joining a charity which offers:
- 38 days holiday (including Christmas holiday closure and bank holidays).
- Yearly performance related bonuses of up to £3,000 FTE.
- Agile, flexible and remote working. The successful candidate must be able to do some travel to Scunthorpe and York although it is mainly remote working.
