The Opportunity

Bupa is one of Australia’s largest health insurers with more than 3 million members. Each of those members need to have clear information about what their health insurance provides. The Product and Customer Entitlement (PACE) team builds, maintains and publishes core health insurance product information across Bupa Health Insurance. This enables our customers to receive their product information across all channels of engagement.

As a key member of the PACE team, you will enable accurate and timely provision of product information to our customers by configuring and maintaining the products within our Product Information Management system

This is a 12mth Fixed term full-time position, based in Melbourne office. (Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home)

How will you make an impact?

As a Product Data Management Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth product launches and updates by managing and validating critical product information. Your expertise in data accuracy and stakeholder collaboration will drive seamless execution and help deliver high-quality results.

You will add value by:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to stay informed about upcoming product launches, changes, or closures.
• Configure product details and update catalogues within the Product Information Management (PIM) system.
• Validate and ensure data accuracy, partnering with teams for quality assurance before release.
• Analyze product data and provide summary reports for key insights.
• Investigate and correct data discrepancies, engaging relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in post-release testing for major product updates or changes.

About You

You’re a curious and detail-oriented professional who loves learning and thrives in fast-paced environments. You’re comfortable working with data and are ready to bring your skills to a dynamic team.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Demonstrated understanding of Private Health Insurance, Hospitals and extras products is highly valued
• Proven ability to manage data with a strong focus on accuracy and detail
• Comfortable working within compliance frameworks and meeting tight deadlines
• Prior experience with content or data management is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is preferred, but a willingness to learn is key
• Proficient in Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
