Product Designer Chicago Wfh (Remote)

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Designer to join our forward-thinking team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the design of our products, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to craft user-centered experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the entire design process for new features and products, from initial conception to final implementation.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and diverse stakeholders to identify and address complex user challenges.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that meet both business objectives and user requirements.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to guide your design decisions and refine designs based on feedback.
• Champion and enforce best practices in design, usability, and accessibility throughout the organization.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive in the marketplace.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in Figma and various design and prototyping tools.
• Strong grasp of design principles, including typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to clearly present and substantiate design choices to stakeholders.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Agile or Lean methodologies is advantageous.
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work in a remote setting.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, featuring a robust portfolio that showcases your work across diverse platforms.
• Relevant educational background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline is preferred.
