Our client’s data and security team is the back bone to allowing the company to scale products into the future. We are looking for a Sr. Product Designer to support internal tools related to security threats. You will be contributing to a new product experience.

Description

The ideal designer for this team has the following interests and skill-sets:

Passion about the problem: You should care deeply about creating new tooling that will allow for the expansion of all data centers in a secure manner.

Systems-thinker: You think about design solutions across the user journey and the Facebook ecosystem.

Storytelling: You can distill big problem spaces into a clear, compelling, and user-centered narrative.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in building and shipping applications or software
• Strong interaction design, visual design, and product thinking skills
• 7+ years of application design experience
• 7+ years of visual design experience
• 7+ years of interaction design experience
• 7+ years of strategic product thinking and vision experience
• Experience designing a design platform is a plus
• Experience working with product managers, engineers, and other product designers

The primary objective of engaging product design vendors is to expand the capacity of the IDC product design team, enabling product managers and full-time product designers to support a broader range of IDC products.

The vendor teams will collaborate closely with the IDC product teams to deliver, test, and refine product strategies through comprehensive UX research and Figma-based prototyping.

• New Product Design Support: Vendors will contribute to the creation of new products by conducting UX research, producing prototypes, and supporting product managers and designers throughout the development process.
• Product Revamp and Redesign: Vendors will assist in the redesign or revamping of existing products, focusing on building and testing prototypes to ensure product alignment with current market and user needs.
• Product Scaling: Vendors will provide continuous support during the product scaling phase. This phase requires ongoing design oversight, but not the intensive design and prototyping efforts typical of earlier stages.
