Our platform manages the entire guest journey from check-in to check-out, including AI-driven chat and voice bots for communication. We optimize interactions between property owners and third-party partners to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience, helping hospitality providers offer a 5-star experience while reducing costs.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Product Designer at bellboy. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter who’s willing to go the extra mile to add value. Finding PMF is no easy task, however with the current properties already using the software the feedback loop will be short and quick. That means working on your toes ready to switch priorities quickly and execute. The goal is to successfully find and maintain product market fit via optimizing product flows and automation.

The role will involve researching different ways to optimize the UI/UX for both the guest portal and the dashboard management system, building feature experiments cases and executing the designs for them. The Product Designer will be responsible for visual design, design thinking, user research, product design, and UX research. Day-to-day tasks include creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces, conducting user research to inform design decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design space for both saas and customer facing products
• Conduct research and testing to create informed design decisions and enhance user experience
• Understands product specifications and identifies user touchpoints/ interactions through the various journeys. 
• Conduct usability tests with users in real-time to understand journey bottlenecks and where to improve the overall experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to bring designs to life
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to illustrate design ideas
• Create responsive designs that work seamlessly across various devices and platforms

Skills & qualifications

• 3 years of experience working as a product designer or UI/UX researcher
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision
• Figma preferred
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence
• Knowledge of Agile software development process, mainly Kanban
