At CellarTracker, we are on a mission to deliver exceptional digital experiences that simplify and enhance the lives of our users. Our consumer-focused wine tracking digital platform empowers users to track and manage their wine journey. We’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer who has a passion for user-centered design for digital consumer products. You should be excited about finding elegant and unique solutions to complex user issues. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of CellarTracker’s Product Design processes and team. You will be able to use your entire range of product design, interaction design, and visual design skills.
Responsibilities
- User Experience Design: Conduct user research, create personas, and map user journeys to inform design decisions
- User Interface Design: Design engaging and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the usability and experience of our products
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate the functionality, interactivity, and look and feel of the product
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other team members to understand requirements and turn concepts into valuable, user-centered experiences
- User Research and Testing: Conduct usability tests, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs based on insights to improve usability and satisfaction
- Design Systems: Help maintain and expand our design system to ensure a consistent visual language and cohesive user experience across all platforms
- Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously elevate the user experience

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally with direct experience designing for B2C applications. Portfolio required
- B2C User Behavior Understanding: Demonstrated experience in optimizing B2C interfaces with an understanding of user needs, engagement, and retention
- Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, etc.
- Data-Driven: Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform design decisions and refine experiences
- User-Centric Mindset: A deep empathy for users and an understanding of user motivations, needs, and behaviors in a subscription-based platform
- Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to create designs that are both visually appealing and functionally seamless
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to cross-functional teams
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a proactive approach to solving design challenges and incorporating feedback
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Experience designing for mobile applications and responsive web design
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices
- Love for wine!
