Product Focused Project Manager (Remote)

Role Overview: We seek an experienced SCRUM/Agile Project Manager with strong Product Management and Design Leadership skills. You’ll bridge the gap between client ideas and the design/development teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with the product vision. This is a hands-on role where you will guide the entire project lifecycle – from translating ideas into features and user flows to managing design, development, and client communications.

Compensation:

• Starting at USD 4,000/month + performance-based bonuses and potential for future equity.
• Room for salary growth based on performance and project success.
• This is a full-time position (40 hours/week).
• Core working hours: 9 am to 5 pm EST (flexibility will be needed for urgent project needs – you will be paid accordingly).
• Fully remote position – work from anywhere in the world.
• Flexible vacation policy [depending on the assigned project schedules].
• We’re open to worldwide talent – as long as you’re the best at what you do and speak fluent English.
• Bonus point if you also speak French!

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development teams to turn app ideas into functional, high-quality products.
• Plan, manage, and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources using Scrum methodologies.
• Create detailed, streamlined user stories and define features that align with client goals.
• Collaborate closely with clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
• Proactively identify challenges, propose solutions, and foresee potential roadblocks.
• Optimize workflows to reduce inefficiencies (minimize unnecessary meetings, improve processes).
• Ensure design quality by maintaining a strong UI/UX perspective.
• Model and communicate database structures to support project features.
• Able to set milestones and map out the project requirements based on the tech stack.

What we’re looking for:

• SCRUM/Agile experience with a proven track record managing SaaS, tech startup, or software development agency projects. Certification is a plus but optional.
• Strong understanding of Product Management and hands-on leadership in product design.
• Excellent ability to create explicit, detailed user stories and manage user flows.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma (a plus if you have hands-on design skills).
• Basic technical knowledge (database relationships, web development concepts, etc.).
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, including managing expectations and issues.
• Ability to motivate and guide teams while maintaining a positive work environment.
• You must be comfortable using Zoom, Slack, Asana (or similar project management tools), and Loom videos for communication and task updates.
• Ability to manage time effectively and allocate tasks efficiently, even under pressure or within tight deadlines, to ensure projects are completed on time.

Bonus skills:

• Technical background or ability to collaborate effectively with developers (JS, Low-code tools & HTML/CSS, etc).
• Experience improving processes and workflows within growing teams.
