Product Manager Discovery Wfh (Remote)

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to lead initiatives in the discovery stage of the user journey. This pivotal role is instrumental in our mission to develop a sophisticated Universal Cloud Platform. You will be tasked with refining the user experience within our Marketplace and Day 0 offerings, enabling platform engineers, DevOps teams, and developers to manage their cloud environments built with Crossplane effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the strategic roadmap of our Marketplace.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to prioritize the backlog and determine user requirements.
• Develop low-fidelity mockups while thoroughly engaging with end-user functionalities.
• Work in close partnership with our Design team to create fluid and intuitive user journeys.
• Coordinate with the broader product team to ensure harmonious roadmaps and strategic plans.
• Collaborate with customer service to gain insights into customer needs and feedback.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in Product Management, particularly with SaaS UI-based products.
• A fervent interest in Crossplane, with a robust understanding of the underlying open-source project and its challenges.
• A background in development, enabling you to engage with our products and prototype new features.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and its associated ecosystem.
• Experience in enterprise-level product management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management.
• Publicly available code samples on GitHub or GitLab.
• A problem-solving mindset that continually seeks innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Product Management.
• Additional experience in building CLI, API, and SDK products is advantageous.
• Ability to create diagrams and simple illustrations that enhance content.
• Experience with open-source community collaboration and managing public roadmaps.
