Product Manager Food Grocery Delivery (Remote)

As a Product Manager for the Food & Grocery Delivery (Delivery Agents) vertical, you will lead product initiatives aimed at enhancing the experience, efficiency, and performance of delivery agents (couriers). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that empower delivery agents, improve their workflows, and optimize logistics. This role is crucial for scaling delivery operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and driving engagement and retention among delivery agents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for delivery agents, focusing on improving their overall experience and operational efficiency.
• Delivery Agent Experience: Identify key pain points and opportunities to improve the delivery agent journey, from onboarding and training to order fulfillment and delivery completion.
• Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data and analytics to understand delivery agent performance, track key metrics (e.g., delivery times, order acceptance rates, retention), and drive decisions that enhance the delivery ecosystem.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, operations, and logistics teams to deliver solutions that address the needs of delivery agents and the broader business goals.
• Feature Development: Collaborate with teams to build tools that enhance delivery agent experience, such as improved navigation, order batching, real-time communication, and earnings visibility. Prioritize features that improve the quality and efficiency of the delivery process.
• Optimization of Delivery Processes: Focus on optimizing delivery routes, minimizing idle times, and improving order assignment algorithms to ensure maximum efficiency and higher earnings potential for delivery agents.
• Onboarding & Training: Develop and enhance features that streamline the delivery agent onboarding process, making it faster and easier for new agents to get started, and providing them with necessary training and resources.
• Performance Management: Collaborate with operations teams to create features that help delivery agents monitor their performance, receive feedback, and take action to improve their ratings and efficiency.
• Feedback Loop: Establish feedback mechanisms to collect insights from delivery agents continuously and improve the product based on their needs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that product features related to delivery agents comply with local and regional labor and transportation regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in logistics, delivery services, or mobility platforms.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful product features for user bases with field operations, such as delivery agents or drivers.

• Strong understanding of mobile and logistics product development.
• Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive product decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in last-mile delivery platforms, gig economy, or fleet management.
• Familiarity with user research, testing, and feedback cycles.
• Knowledge of navigation, mapping, and route optimization technologies.
• Understanding of delivery agent engagement strategies and performance management.
