The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Product Manager with a robust combination of business acumen and technical proficiency. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our product development initiatives, focusing on the design and implementation of backend features that empower our global restaurant partners, particularly within the quick-service and casual dining sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and management of platform services, including loyalty programs, notification services, and coupon solutions, from initial research to implementation and launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and manage product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements.
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, creating clear user stories for the development team to enhance focus and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary advocate for your products, confidently representing the company in discussions with partners and customers.
  • Serve as the liaison for third-party partners, outlining feature requirements and managing product-related aspects of those partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and gather stakeholder feedback to continuously refine and enhance product offerings.
  • Monitor product performance through various analytical tools, leveraging feedback to iterate on features that improve usability and functionality.
  • Ensure clarity in product documentation and release notes for users and stakeholders alike.
  • Uphold product quality through rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and performance evaluations.
  • Manage the onboarding process for clients utilizing the product solutions.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in event-driven architectures, real-time data processing, and the broader restaurant technology landscape.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager on cross-functional teams, specifically within backend restaurant or e-commerce applications on a SaaS platform.
  • Proven success in launching new backend products and features within SCRUM/Agile environments.
  • Proficient in product deliverables execution, business process analysis, functional design, and software testing.
  • Technical skills including familiarity with APIs, webhooks, microservices architectures, JSON, logical schema design, and SQL querying.
  • Strong communication abilities, adept at articulating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical skills, utilizing data to inform product decisions and measure success.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is an asset.
  • Candidates with backgrounds in engineering, QA, or technical support are encouraged to apply.

  • Competitive salary range of (105,000 – )130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
