You will be working as a Product Manager to provide oversight and steerage of product performance with our Agency Partners to implement and deliver on product strategy and portfolio performance.

About the role

Collaborate with Agency Partners and internal Allianz stakeholders to develop, maintain, implement new products or changes as needed.
Facilitate annual review of policy documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal document due diligence policy
Implement product governance risk frameworks, including completion or regular product reviews, submissions to Specialty Oversight Group, and Product, Underwriting and Pricing committee and regular reporting of product risk metrics.
Monitor and provide analysis and reports on variation to product plans and underwriting framework, ensuring underperforming products/segments are discussed and addressed with Agency Partners.
Collaborate and maintain the underwriting framework with associated guidelines, participating in annual underwriting reviews.

About you

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline supported by relevant insurance industry qualifications and ANZIIF (or equivalent) qualifications.
Proven general insurance product management experience; open to any line of consumer or commercial business, ideally with experience in intermediated lines.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of governance requirements and frameworks as well as portfolio sensitive legislation or regulations
Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities to facilitate the evaluation of complex and detailed data in the development and management of a range of insurance products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence
