Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have a physical office in San Francisco, New York City, and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.
About Your Role
We’re looking for an experienced product manager to join our growing team, focused on tooling and workflows facilitating clients’ data migration, standardization and cleansing so it can be imported into Juniper Square. These processes are a critical step in setting up every single client for success with Juniper Square and will set us up for success in a cost-effective way for the years of growth to come.
You will be working very closely with clients, with our customer onboarding Product Operations team and will be collaborating closely with engineering, UX and peer product managers to understand the end-to-end process, current challenges and opportunities, and evaluate new technologies that can offer a step change in how we conduct these workflows today. You will own the team’s 3-5 year vision, draw the 1-2 year specific roadmap and partner with the team and stakeholders to execute this roadmap.
What You’ll Do
- Develop the roadmap for your domain, and balance competing needs between features, stability and performance.
- Develop deep empathy for our customers’ needs and pain points, by close collaboration with colleagues from our product and product operations teams as well as customers themselves.
- Ship features and improvements frequently and iteratively, planning projects, documenting requirements, and motivating those building solutions with an understanding of the ‘why’ and the ‘what’, inspiring their ownership of the ‘how’.
- Work cross-functionally with product operations and engineering teams and more to roll out new capabilities and drive adoption.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a technical product management role, or a combination of engineering and technical product management
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent schooling or training
- Demonstrated ability to define and ship complex, technical products in an iterative, agile manner
- Comfort working with a range of levels, from envisioning entirely new products to mastering details and edge cases
- Previous experience working with internal tools, operations and engineering closely would be a plus
- Proven ability to motivate, lead and convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through writing, presentations and collaboration with a diverse set of business teams from engineering to operations, and product management
- Any prior experience in product operations or engineering would be good to have
