Product Manager (Remote)

About us:

EdVisorly is the fastest growing platform for community college students transferring to 4-year universities. We’re empowering students to achieve their goal of graduation and helping universities meet their enrollment targets by streamlining and demystifying the transfer process via a single mobile app. We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Product Manager to join our team and take ownership over the student-facing product experience.

About the role:

Product Manager – Student Mobile

As the founding PM focused solely on the student, you’ll drive every aspect of the student experience within our app. Through research, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the current transfer process and develop deep empathy for the challenges and uncertainty students face within the status quo. You’ll leverage this insight along with your superior analytical skills and your deep product intuition to ideate, pitch and prioritize workstreams that result in a delightful and effective in-app experience. You’ll work cross-functionally with our design, engineering and marketing teams to bring those projects to life with a focus on impact, speed and maintaining a high-bar for quality.

About you:

• You take an extremely data-driven approach to your work but also have strong product intuition and a pattern matching ability that enables you to make decisions with incomplete information
• You’ve worked at an early stage startup before and ideally experienced the ride from seed/series A -> series B or C
• You’ve owned product for a mobile-centric brand before and taken product experiences from 0 to 1
• You’re a strategic tops down thinker who can also get into the weeds
• You’re a self-starter who is impact-driven and operates with a sense of urgency
• You’re a relentlessly curious, extremely user-centric and a joy to work with

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the student in-app experience with an eye for optimizing usability, engagement and maximizing student-outcomes
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement and manage student-centric initiatives.
• Use data-driven decision-making to identify and execute on opportunities for product improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure successful implementation of products
• Create student-centered discovery tools that guide students to universities that best match their specific needs or desired outcomes.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and optimize the success of GTM initiatives.
