Product Manager User Journey Discovery | Get It – Professional Services | United States
We invite you to join our dynamic team as a Product Manager specializing in the crucial “discovery” phase of the user journey. In this role, you will significantly enhance the user experience within our Marketplace and Day 0 for our commercial product offerings. This position is pivotal to our Product organization’s objective of delivering a premier Universal Cloud Platform. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with platform engineers, DevOps professionals, and developers to optimize their management of cloud platforms developed with Crossplane. Your primary focus will be on managing the Marketplace and Day 0 user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume full ownership of the roadmap for our Marketplace.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize the product backlog and ascertain user requirements.
- Develop low-fidelity mockups and deeply engage with end-user functionalities.
- Work closely with our Design team to create seamless and intuitive user journeys.
- Align with the broader product team to ensure unified roadmaps and strategic planning.
- Partner with customer service to gain insights into and respond to user needs.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in Product Management, particularly with SaaS UI-centric products.
- Strong passion for Crossplane, along with a robust understanding of the open-source project and its associated challenges.
- A background in development, enabling hands-on experimentation with our products and coding for feature testing.
- Proficient understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise products.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management.
- Availability of public code examples on platforms like GitHub or GitLab (the quality of code is not a concern as this role does not entail shipping production code).
- A continuous improvement mindset focused on innovative problem-solving.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a Product Management capacity.
- Experience in developing CLI, API, and SDK products is advantageous.
- Capability in creating diagrams and simple illustrations to enhance content understanding.
- Experience working with open-source communities and managing public roadmaps is a plus.
