- Understands the company’s products and identifies key features to attract and retain clients.
- Stays up to date on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in product marketing efforts; is able to articulate and educate on these areas as well as our value proposition and differentiators of our product related to competitors.
- Conducts research to gain insights into customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends to inform product positioning and messaging across marketing and lead generation initiatives, as well as retention and utilization efforts.
- Determines appropriate advertising efforts for product and solution awareness across comprehensive marketing channels.
- Supports Optimal Blue podcasts and events from a product marketing and product asset perspective.
- Manages creation of product-related content with our writers and coordinates the planned release of each asset across our marketing channels.
- Collaborates to develop engaging marketing collateral, web content, and materials, including product videos, training demos and case studies to support lead generation and client retention efforts.
- Works cross-functionally to cultivate the positioning, messaging, and brand-related items of a product or new feature. Collaborates closely with cross-functional groups to define target market segments, product features, and pricing strategies, and support announcements or growth marketing.
- Participates in product Go-to-Market projects and deliver on marketing initiatives on time and within budget. Support successful product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing activities, such as content creation, advertising, event spotlights, and PR.
- Works cross-functionally to gather and process customer feedback. Builds strong relationships with customers and industry contacts to amplify our product messaging and generate positive company coverage.
- Delivers effective sales enablement tools, including sales presentations, battle cards, and product training materials in partnership with product and sales teams
- Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of product marketing principles and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling and concise messaging
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful product marketing strategies
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed decisions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in market research and competitive analysis
- Creative thinker with a customer-centric mindset

Salary Range (US Only):
The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.
