We are seeking a strategic and driven Product Marketing Manager to spearhead go-to-market (GTM) initiatives across our three flagship products: Genea Security, On-Demand HVAC, and Submeter Billing. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the messaging, positioning, and competitive differentiation that define our market presence and drive revenue growth. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to deliver innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of the commercial building industry. Duties And Responsibilities
Messaging & Positioning
- Craft compelling, differentiated messaging and positioning that resonates with target customers by clearly articulating product benefits, differentiators, and use cases.
- Create and maintain messaging frameworks to support sales, marketing, and product alignment.
- Educate internal teams on product messaging to ensure consistency and clarity across all communications.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
- Develop, plan, and execute product launches with cross-functional teams, leveraging comprehensive GTM strategies and tactics to drive measurable results.
- Build GTM plans that elevate the unique value proposition of each product while aligning with broader business goals.
- Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product roadmaps, campaign initiatives, and launch strategies.
Messaging & Positioning
- Craft compelling, differentiated messaging and positioning that resonates with target customers by clearly articulating product benefits, differentiators, and use cases.
- Create and maintain messaging frameworks to support sales, marketing, and product alignment.
- Educate internal teams on product messaging to ensure consistency and clarity across all communications.
Market and Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Serve as the market expert, leveraging insights to inform messaging, product strategy, and go-to-market plans.
Sales Enablement
- Develop and refine sales tools, presentations, and training materials to empower the sales team.
- Work closely with sales and alliances teams to ensure alignment on value propositions, training, and support plans.
Content Leadership
- Produce and oversee impactful content, including collateral, thought leadership pieces, videos, blogs, website content, and more, to accelerate the buyer’s journey and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute product-centric campaigns across digital, social, and event channels.
Customer Advocacy
- Build and manage customer advocacy programs, including case studies, testimonials, referrals, and speaking engagements.
- Gather customer feedback to influence product development and marketing initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive strategies and shared goals.
- Partner with product teams to incorporate customer insights and case studies into marketing, sales, and product strategies.
Impact Goals
- Drive differentiation and market leadership through innovative messaging and positioning.
- Accelerate customer growth with aligned GTM strategies and impactful sales enablement.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in product marketing, preferably with experience in B2B technology, security, or IoT industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in creating and executing messaging frameworks, GTM strategies, and sales enablement tools.
- Strong ability to translate market and competitive intelligence into actionable strategies.
- Experience developing impactful content across multiple formats and channels.
- Proven track record of driving customer advocacy programs and influencing product strategy.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with experience working cross-functionally to deliver cohesive and impactful results.
Estimated Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000
The salary range listed is our best estimate based on the role’s requirements and market conditions. The final offer may be higher or lower depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
