As a Maintenance and Repair Product Owner, you will develop, maintain, implement and assist in managing and supporting GSA Fleet offerings of Information Technology systems.

Federal Acquisition Service – Office of Travel, Transportation and Logistics – Office of Fleet Management (GSA Fleet). This position is Remote.

We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

• Provides timely information; prioritizes requirements, defects, and other work items for the team; serves an active participant in backlog grooming or backlog refinement; participates actively in user testing; helps the team gain access to expert stakeholders; facilitates requirements sessions, including requirements envisioning; and assists the Product Manager to manage requirements dependencies with other product teams.
• Responsible for continuously improving business processes, policies and systems to meet stakeholder needs. The Product Owner must plan for and regularly engage with stakeholders to listen to their needs and feedback and develop appropriate requirements.
• Serves as the public face of the team to stakeholders along with the Product Manager. In this role, the incumbent performs the following duties: demos to key stakeholders; announces releases; communicates status; organizes product reviews; and educates stakeholders in the development process.
• Maintains current and complete product documentation, deliverables, and reports. Ensures that the product documentation satisfies all GSA Fleet operating procedures and organizational performance standards.

• Participate in the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), which includes attending meetings and planning activities; and carrying out mission-critical work at a designated location other than your primary work site (which may be outside of your commuting area).

The GS-13 salary range starts at $103,409.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience utilizing project management practices that comprise communicating and working with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate, develop, and implement project needs and strategies. This experience is generally demonstrated by improving business processes; ensuring product deliverables are developed and accomplished in accordance with pertinent government regulations; and communicating effectively with Business Owners, Product Managers, stakeholders, and external federal agencies (or equivalent).
