Job Description

As Product Owner II, you will own a core capability of Gas South’s products, driving important outcomes for the benefit of both Customer and Employee Experiences. You will play an active role with external business partners to integrate strategies that exceed our commitment to customers.

Additional Responsibilities

• Define clear acceptance criteria for user stories to guide development and testing.
• Partner collaboratively with cross-functional roles and in a shared ownership model to achieve outcomes.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure product success, identify improvements, and make data-informed decisions.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks, streamline processes, and reduce manual toil.
• Work independently to identify risks, working strategically to mitigate them.
• Utilize prioritization methodologies to prioritize according to customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to distill insights that inform the product strategy.
• Proficient understanding of technical concepts, architectures, and constraints.
• Leverage experimentation for continuous improvement of feature set.
• Proficient in Agile practices, methodologies, and team roles.
• Work with vendors or partners to manage the successful integration of tools that power the customer experience.

Experience

• 4-5 years related experience working as a Product Owner / Product Manager.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are a plus.
• Experience taking ownership of a customer problem and delivering measurable solutions.
• Hands-on experience creating KPIs to measure product success.

Preferred Experience

• Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders, including an executive audience, to convey the product vision clearly.
• Experience handling data to inform prioritization and maximize value.
• A strong background with agile methodologies, experimentation, and demonstration of the “continuous improvement” mindset.

Atlanta, GA or Gainesville, FL

Pay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.

Gas South Pay Range $94,296—$105,390 USD
