Job Description

As a Retail Ecommerce Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of our online shopping platform. You will be responsible for leading the digital product vision, managing the product roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and drive growth. This position requires a keen understanding of retail ecommerce, consumer behavior, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision:

Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to shape future product direction.

Develop a deep understanding of retail ecommerce best practices and emerging trends to ensure our platform remains competitive.

Product Development & Execution:

Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, marketing, and operations) to ensure the timely and efficient development of new features and enhancements.

Create and prioritize user stories, ensuring they are well-defined with clear acceptance criteria.

Drive the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, focusing on delivering high-quality, user-centric experiences.

Ensure features meet business objectives and align with customer experience goals.

Customer-Centric Focus:

Regularly engage with customers, stakeholders, and data insights to understand pain points, preferences, and needs.

Leverage customer data, A/B testing, and usability studies to optimize the ecommerce experience and maximize conversion rates.

Continuously monitor product performance post-launch, identifying opportunities for improvement and iteration.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, maintaining strong communication with stakeholders across the organization.

Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align on product promotions, merchandising strategies, and operational requirements.

Collaborate with the UX/UI team to create seamless and engaging shopping experiences.

Analytics & Reporting:

Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that product goals are being met.

Report on the success of features, user adoption, and overall ecommerce performance, providing recommendations for optimization.
