### Position Overview

We are excited to expand our team as we continue our growth in the E&S Commercial Property market, particularly focusing on agriculture-related and adjacent sectors. We’re looking for a senior property production underwriter with a proven track record in high-hazard environments to join our dynamic team. This role will involve developing relationships with wholesale brokers, underwriting complex property risks, and contributing to our continued success and profitability.

• Underwriting: Review and assess property submissions, determine rates and terms, and negotiate with brokers to achieve profitable outcomes.
• Portfolio Management: Work with leadership on managing our portfolio, balancing market competitiveness with underwriting profitability.
• Technology & Processes: Utilize our technology and systems to maintain thorough documentation and ensure alignment across underwriting, loss control, and claims departments.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry practices and contribute to the ongoing development of our products and methodologies.

### Qualifications

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience underwriting property risks, with expertise in high-hazard occupancies and layered placements.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; post-graduate degree or certification (e.g., MBA, CPCU, ARM) preferred.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, professional communication, and proficiency with technology. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing responsibilities effectively.

### Remote Work Requirements

• Setup: Maintain a professional home office with reliable high-speed internet and appropriate decor for video conferencing.
• Availability: Must be able to work within Eastern or Central time business hours.
