Your team

The Change and Business Readiness team is responsible for supporting the delivery of organisational change management and business readiness across projects and other change initiatives in accordance with the ASIC Project Management and Change Management methodologies.

There is an increasing focus on data sharing and analytics, making ASIC a ‘best in class’ digital regulator supporting the Australian financial markets.

Your role

As Program Change Manager, you will:

  • Take a leadership and hands-on role in delivering organisational change management initiatives across IT and/or a business program of work with multiple workstreams.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support overall program and/or project-level business change activities.
  • Assist program and project teams in delivering clear and identifiable results to embed change within the business.
  • Monitor the progress of changes and ensure governance requirements are met, including planning, risk management, reporting, and project management.
  • Support the design, development, and delivery of program and workstream communications, ensuring that adequate communication is provided throughout the lifecycle, including transition to BAU and post go-live.
  • Conduct impact analysis, stakeholder analysis, and deliver other key change management outputs.
  • Contribute to refining and maturing ASIC’s change management framework.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance change quality and business readiness.
  • Develop and support a change management capability uplift program for project managers and key stakeholders.
  • Implement a consistent set of change management tools and artefacts.
  • Document key processes and procedures, ensuring team members are trained.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business Management, or Communications.
  • Change Management certification such as Prosci (highly regarded).
  • Proven experience in planning and managing people, process, and behaviour change implementation.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and training.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, working in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to negotiate and engage at all levels.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Visio, Project, and Azure DevOps and SharePoint knowledge (advantageous).
