Program Manager And Lead Auditor | BSI | Italy
Purpose of the position
The internal and supplier assurance solutions business (ISA) partners with clients to build trust in their internal organisation and across their value chain. ISA has undergone a tremendous amount of growth and continues to do so; this role will support this growth across the globe.
This is a hybrid role merging two combined tasks, Project Manager and Lead Auditor:
The Project Manager will independently plan and lead a wide variety of projects across a number of functional areas and will provide leadership and project management to key strategic initiatives in support of the Operations Department.
The Lead Auditor task involves the delivery of First- and Second-Party audits to support the ISA business. This task will require availability to travel, mainly in Europe.
Location: Italy, Spain or France, hybrid with availability to travel
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Internal and Supplier Audit Program Establishment
- Internal and Supplier Audit Program Management
- Handle bids/ enquiries related to allocated ISA programs and coordinate with country offices for Quotations.
- Develop training and competencies to support the delivery of assigned programs
- Develop operating procedures and work instructions related to the ISA program(s), maintain client specific programme documents on Intranet for BSI global Network, communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure operational delivery
- Conduct auditors training and calibrations
- Manage an effective client relationship interface through regular performance review meeting
To Be Successful In This Role
- Experience in leading projects related to ESG
- Proven experience in program managing global internal and supplier audit programmes.
- Proven experience in second- or third-party audits. (First Party audits experience may be considered).
- Proven experience in Social Responsibility (APSCA certifications are considered as a strong asset) and/or Work Health and Safety, Food manufacturing, Chemical and Pharmaceutical industry.
- Client centricity – Ability to develop customer relationships, across all levels, engage with the customer to establish an understanding of their business drivers and how BSI can enable them to become more efficient.
- Fluency in English (C1) – mandatory and fluency in an additional european language.
- Preferred additional languages: French, Italian, Spanish, German.
- Experience in working in international enviroments
