Position Objective:
- Axiom Consultants is looking for a talented Program Manager to join our team! The Program Manager will be supporting and managing all Cyber and IT contracts that the team currently supports and will support in the future.
Job Description:- Provide project management and operations support for requirements associated with company’s Cyber and IT contracts.
- Responsible for providing monthly contract reports to the government client or COR to discuss program/project deliverables and statuses as well as staffing updates.
- Lead kick-off meetings for new contract wins.
- Inform HR/Recruiting department of any new vacancies on current contracts as well as if any employees will be leaving the company or if key personnel are needed for any proposal efforts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Axiom Consultants with the government clients and handle all program operation tasks associated with the contracts.
- Monitor, review, and approve employee’s timesheets to ensure they’re completed correctly and on time.
- Analyze overall program effectiveness; identify and address areas of opportunity and make/implement recommendations.
- Consult with leadership and business partners to effectively define metrics and short/long-term goals and objectives, initiatives, and actions plans.
- Manage 10 – 25 personnel on various contracts and handle any employee related issues or work with HR to resolve these situations.
- Monitor contract budget and overall financial performance and provide updates to internal team members.
- Ensure project deliverables are met in accordance with customers’ expectations, timelines & budget constraints.
- Conduct regular program and project reviews with senior leadership and customers to monitor performance and quality standards.
- Identify new work for the company to go after and handle the RFIs, RFPs, or Requests associated with the new work.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- 6 – 8 years of experience in program management, with a strong preference for candidates with a background managing contracts in the Cyber and/or IT space supporting the federal government.
- Extensive experience maintaining and creating new relationships with government customers.
- Extensive experience in managing multiple initiatives, and meet changing requirements and priorities to accomplish objectives and goals, independently or in a team environment
- Extensive experience in project management to include establishing and leading project teams, managing timelines/deadlines/resources, and ensuring successful project implementation.
- Experience managing personnel on contracts and ensuring that all team members are meeting role and client expectations.
- Experience managing various types of contracts such as FFP, T&M, Cost Plus, etc.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relations with senior stakeholders across various functions.
- Contract Management Expertise including FAR and DCAA.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
