Program Manager (Remote)

Job description / Role

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager with a proven track record of leading Salesforce projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the successful implementation of Salesforce solutions, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with business objectives. The Program Manager will drive projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:
* Lead Salesforce program efforts, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and timeline execution.
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
* Manage day-to-day operations of Salesforce projects, ensuring all aspects of the project run smoothly.

Stakeholder Management:
* Engage with business leaders and stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure that the Salesforce platform aligns with organizational objectives.
* Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and ensuring expectations are met.

Team Collaboration:
* Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Salesforce developers, architects, analysts, and end-users to ensure cohesive project delivery.
* Mentor and manage project teams, driving accountability and ensuring tasks are completed according to project timelines.
* Foster a collaborative environment by promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Resource & Vendor Management:
* Manage internal and external resources, including vendor management for third party Salesforce integrators.
* Collaborate with Salesforce consultants and technical teams to ensure successful platform configurations and customizations.

Risk Management:
* Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure minimal impact on the project timeline or budget.
* Proactively address any project issues, implementing corrective actions to ensure continued progress.

Reporting & Documentation:
* Provide regular project updates, status reports, and communication to stakeholders and senior leadership.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, risk logs, timelines, and budget reports.
* Track project performance using appropriate tools, metrics, and KPIs to ensure goals are being met.

Budget Management:
* Oversee the project budget, ensuring all expenses are tracked, reported, and within the approved limits.
* Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising the project’s objectives or quality.

Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
* PMP, PRINCE2, or Salesforce certifications are a plus.

Experience:
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects, with at least 3-5 years of experience in managing Salesforce projects (Sales, Service, Marketing, or Experience Cloud).
* Proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce implementations on time and within budget.
* Hands-on experience in Salesforce development and deployment processes.

Skills:
* Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on business outcomes.

Preferred Skills:
* Prior experience in managing Salesforce integrations with third-party applications.
* Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
* Knowledge of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and Lightning platform.
