Job Description
JRAD is seeking a highly experienced Installation Energy Program Manager to support the Air Force Civil Engineer Directorate (AF/A4C). Hybrid preferred (NCR); fully remote considered.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management: Oversee and manage energy projects and programs across military installations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with energy policies.
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategies to enhance energy resilience, efficiency, and sustainability within military installations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with DAF, AFIMSC, AFCEC, and other pertinent organizations to coordinate energy initiatives and projects.
- Project Coordination: Plan, execute, and monitor energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to provide updates on program status and project outcomes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze energy consumption data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to enhance energy efficiency.
- Compliance and Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations, and provide input on policy updates as needed.
Required Skills and Education:
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in energy program management, preferably within a military or defense context.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, energy management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of energy management principles, energy resilience, sustainability practices, and relevant technologies.
- Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing complex projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing energy data, identifying trends, and developing actionable recommendations.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant energy policies, regulations, and best practices within a military or government context.
Security Clearance:
- DoD Secret is required
