    Responsibilities

    The Program Manager works as part of the Enterprise Applications and Platforms leadership team and manages assigned program(s) to meet business objectives. Oversees and manages multiple projects and Project Managers on initiatives related to healthcare electronic medical record and billing system implementations and optimizations. This role will focus on the Revenue Cycle aspects of the EHR program work including Registration, Scheduling, HIM, Coding, and Billing, etc.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develops program goals and plans to align with defined business strategy.
    • Manages program through creating program plans, management tools and reporting capabilities.
    • Leads cross-functional teams and ensures resources are assigned to meet program goals.
    • Recommends program budget and monitors and adjusts plan as resource requirements change.
    • Communicates and documents program quality outcomes and progress metrics.
    • Addresses and resolves project issues to ensure goals remain on track.
    • Responsible for Program status reports, communications, and coordination of related work to ensure smooth implementation of projects.

    Requirements

    Education:

    • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

    Additional Preferences

    • Desire PMP Certification and background in IT project management in a complex environment.
    • Knowledge and experience with Cerner or Patient Accounting systems highly desirable.
    • Must have experience in healthcare operations or IT operations including clinical care delivery or system delivery workflows.
