Position: Program Managers
Remote from Colombia.
Qualifications:
· Hands on and detailed oriented Project Manager with telecom background and 5 to 10 years of experience in customer delivery and SW development projects
· Good communication skills including English fluency is a must
· The focus on this position is on managing project work, creating schedules, defining resource plan, tracking project costs, tracking deliverables, reporting status, reviewing statement of work, creating presentations, setting meetings, and leading the engineers, technical managers, and architects in the project team. Tracking and scheduling activities in both non-production and production environments. Knowledge of SW development lifecycle is a plus and well as managing the quality of the SW delivered by the R&D organizations. Other activities include managing Maintenance Windows, creating Maintenance Window documentation, creating Power Point Deck for status reporting, and being the single point of escalation for project issues. Also desired good proficiency on MS-Office tools especially MS-Project.
· Projects may involve and require high level knowledge of Packet Core, VNF concepts, 5G, Cloud migration, and AWS integration and deployment as well as knowledge of IMS/SDL concepts and architecture, and strong preference on 5G and Cloud deployments. Special focus might include messaging services including MMSC, SMS-GW and MSA platforms. Projects might include lab testing in Nokia or in customer labs, green field deployments, expansion, migration, virtualization, upgrades, and Care work. Experience with hardware deployments and managing hardware inventory and shipments may also be required for specific projects. Experience with Big data, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning projects could be a requirement for specific projects.
· Management Experience / Achieved well-advanced skills of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organizational practice or expertise. Recognized expert in their field (depth & breadth). Typically requires 5-8 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.

Responsibilities and tasks for the role:
· Pre-sales support: Engineering Services costing inputs for releases/CRs and SOWs, BC reviews, planning of roadmap releases, feature planning support, cost & SOW inputs for new opportunities.
· Coordinate the overall resource planning.
· Resource planning, allocation, feedback, and control
· Plan Nokia testing for releases
· Control overall program report and costs
· Coordinate technical work internally and with the customer teams
PM Job Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Manages customer program (collection of projects managed together for business benefits) or project* for a defined product and / or service scope for a medium / large and / or complex customer contract with medium / high risk probability.
· Contract might be defined as key project by BG / market. Delivers the operational and project single/multiple BG / BUs scope to the customer.
· Ensures all project and operational management is in full alignment with Nokia Mode of Operation (MoO), BG / BL guidelines and the PM@Nokia methodology.
· Plans customer project and keeps plan updated to reflect and anticipate changes by coordinating change management on all aspects affecting cost, scope, schedule and quality (CSSQ).
· Assures consistency among project financial, product and service forecast activities.
· Participates in pre-sales and sales process activities.
· Ensures hand over from Sell to Execute and from Delivery to Care is done and monitors progress against it.
· Defines the customization of any global operational processes together with relevant point of contacts to meet project requirements (for example, network operations, supply chain, logistics, and acceptance).
· Manages the customer relationship during delivery and serves as the primary interface towards the customer in all activities-related to the own scope of the contract, including customer complaints, corrective actions, and changing requirements.
· Monitors and controls that the project is delivered within the approved budget, profitability forecast, and planned scope.
· Ensures that the project meets all objectives for quality and looks continuously for quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
· Actively applies appropriate best practices and lessons learned throughout the life of the project. Monitors, controls, and reports KPIs defined in customer contract.
· Ensures data in all project-related tools and repositories is kept up-to-date and with high quality.
· Conducts thorough risk management for all project risks and opportunities.
· Seeks to define new opportunities to expand and renew contracts with the customer.
· Completes the project closure and / or handover as required.
