Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of textile manufacturing projects from inception to completion. This individual will support the project management team in coordinating project activities, managing timelines, ensuring quality control, and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in managing complex projects within a manufacturing or textile industry context.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Assist in the planning and scheduling of textile manufacturing projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Work closely with project managers, production teams, and external partners to ensure all project activities align with company goals and customer requirements.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, budgets, progress reports, and correspondence.
Prepare and present regular status updates to project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and identifying any risks or delays.
Vendor & Supplier Management:
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for projects.
Monitor the quality of incoming materials and resolve any supply chain issues to minimize project disruptions.
Quality Control & Compliance:
Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to monitor production processes and ensure products meet the required specifications.
Budget Tracking & Resource Allocation:
Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.
Help allocate resources efficiently across various project tasks to maximize productivity and meet deadlines.
Team Communication & Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, facilitating communication and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide support to project teams, ensuring that all members have the necessary information and resources to succeed.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks to project timelines or quality and work proactively with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
Troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Textile Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management, ideally within the textile manufacturing industry or a related manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, from raw material sourcing to finished products.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication abilities (written and verbal).
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
