What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Process adjudicated claims received from CMS and troubleshoot any errors
• Verify demographic information in the software for accuracy
• Collaborate with practices and third-party vendors to resolve inconsistencies and errors
• Support the validation of check runs ahead of financial disbursements
• Answer customer inquiries on assigned accounts

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Strong background in accounts receivable and understanding of Medicare billing
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPC level II coding guidelines
• Ability to navigate healthcare industry rules and regulations, including HIPAA and False Claims Act
• Experience with ambulatory practice billing processes and operations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• 7+ years of billing and coding experience
• Experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, Jira, and Tableau
• Proficient with Google Suite
• Licensure as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Biller (CPB)
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related services preferred
