Project Delivery Manager (Remote)

Project Delivery Manager | Service Stream Group | Australia

We are looking for a Project Delivery Manager for our Outback Zone Road Network Contract within our Transport Division. This can be based out of either our Port Augusta or Regency Park office in South Australia. This role is solution-focused, client-facing and is responsible for developing and implementing short to medium-term work programs.  You will join a highly engaged workforce with family values that is supportive and has strong community engagement.

Your Key Duties Will Include

• Managing the delivery of specific maintenance services (SMS), routine maintenance services (RMS), cyclical routine maintenance services (CRMS).
• Providing leadership, strategic direction, and guidance to the maintenance, Annual Renewal Works Program (ARWP) and Minor Capital Works (MCWs), ARWP (including subcontractors).
• Delivering timely and high-quality maintenance services, MCWs and annual renewal works while achieving value for money and maintaining collaborative working relationships.
• Championing local industry and Aboriginal participation to maximise contract opportunities and achieve participation targets.
• Maintaining current and accurate records in the Asset Data System to inform the Annual Works Program and Strategic Asset Management Plan.
• Promoting a positive work health and safety, and sustainability culture.
• Being accountable for appropriate cost, risk management, and ensuring accurate cost management and forecasting.

About You
To be successful in this role, you are an experienced and capable leader who can deliver results. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience with project or site engineering. You will also possess the following:

• Relevant tertiary and/or trade qualifications in a related technical discipline would be highly desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a project management, project engineering, site engineering, site supervisory or experienced site operations role, and/or knowledge of the construction and property development industries, and project management principles.
• Commercial acumen and analytical skills for managing inputs and outputs of a commercial assignment, combined with planning and organisational skills for managing competing priorities.
• Problem solving, technical and analytical skills to support the implementation of organisational policies, procedures and programs and project engineering operations.
• Written and verbal communication skills to persuade, facilitate decision making, manage expectations, influence, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Current driver’s licence (you will be provided with a vehicle).
