Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Department Manager to lead and oversee project ideation, planning, execution, and evaluation across multiple departments. This role will be instrumental in driving organizational growth by ensuring projects align with strategic goals, meet technical requirements, and are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a proven track record in managing complex projects, mentoring teams, and implementing process improvements. Report directly to the Directors of Placement International and actively contribute to the success of our global organization.

Requirements:
Experience: BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, a minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in project management, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-departmental projects from ideation to completion.- Technical Skills: Technical proficiency in tools like HubSpot, WordPress (content updates), and project management software. 3+ years of web development experience in any of the following Figma, Canva HTML, CSS
- Leadership Skills: Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills to manage diverse teams and complex projects. Ability to guide development teams on technical requirements and collaborate effectively on system improvements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Humble and respectful; takes the time to listen to others and understand their point of view.
- Project Management: Proven experience in project management, with a strong focus on ideation and cross-departmental collaboration. Experience working with Agile Scrum workflow & familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, and Trello.
- Time Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage tight deadlines,
- Interpersonal Skills: Result Driven; focuses on desired results, and sets and achieves challenging goals. Self Driven; motivated to do or achieve better results and quality services because of his/her own enthusiasm or interest.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Ideation, Planning, and Management
- Lead the ideation process for new projects by collaborating with stakeholders to define objectives, scope, and success criteria.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions to gather ideas and identify areas for system and process improvements.
- Assist departments in translating business needs into actionable project goals and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure projects align with organizational goals and are delivered within budget and timeline constraints.
Guidance for Development and UX/UI Teams
- Collaborate with developers and UX/UI teams to ensure projects are user-centric and technically feasible.
- Provide clear guidance on project requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user needs.
- Review wireframes, prototypes, and system updates, offering constructive feedback to optimize functionality and design.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Track project progress against milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and issues early, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and necessary adjustments.
Cross-Departmental and Technical Support
- Act as a technical resource for various departments, addressing project-related queries and providing guidance.
- Assist in updating websites (e.g., WordPress), maintaining site content and functionality, and ensuring timely updates.
- Support departments in identifying system improvements and enhancements, collaborating with developers for implementation.
- Manage and optimize CRM systems and HubSpot, to improve workflows and team efficiency.
- Lead training programs to ensure employees are proficient in tools and systems, promoting consistent usage and compliance.
Team Leadership and Development
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members to discuss performance, goals, and feedback, fostering a culture of open communication.
- Evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional growth.
- Define and communicate clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) tailored to team roles and responsibilities.
- Address underperformance through Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and, when necessary, disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies.
Resource and Hardware Management
- Oversee the allocation and maintenance of hardware devices necessary for project execution.
- Handle equipment requests from various departments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely fulfillment.
Process Improvement and Evaluation
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, gather lessons learned, and identify best practices for future projects.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback to enhance project management processes.
- Engage stakeholders to solicit feedback on project effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
