G&E are working with a Top 10 General Contractor with revenues exceeding $5B. One of the largest privately held and family-owned construction and real estate development firms in the industry.
Core Markets: Commercial/ Healthcare/ K-12/ Multifamily/ Municipal.
With their incredibly strong backlog and sights of expanding they are seeking a talented and experienced executive level individual to lead and grow the construction business unit. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Create and implement a strategic plan for the Construction business unit, aligning with the company’s growth goals.
- Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations. Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to enhance individual and team performance.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial aspects of projects and the business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education training and experience.
- Minimum 10 years experience in construction management, supervising large projects ($150M+) and developing a team of construction professionals.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking with the ability to drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
